Systems Neuroscience & Psychopathology

We study how complex neural systems shape behavior and cognition, and how dysfunction in these systems tracks the emergence of psychopathology

A multidisciplinary Research Lab

The SNaP Lab is based at the Center for Advanced Human Brain Imaging Research located within the Rutgers Brain Health Institute. SNaP Lab focuses on two research areas: (i) developing mechanistic computational models to study the biological basis of large-scale neural systems and (ii) using these models to understand the developmental emergence of cognition & psychopathology.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging

We primarily study the human brain using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Network Science

We cast this MRI data as a network of nodes and edges

Machine Learning

We leverage machine learning to study how network dysfunction predicts the symptoms of mental health

We're hiring!

We’re looking for highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to join us!
